The wine exhibits a deep garnet hue in the glass. Our first impression is WOW, just wow. Aromas are expansive and bright throughout - concentrated, ripe and layered. Strong aromatics of dark berry, cedar, spice, cherry, cinnamon and toasty French oak give complexity and opulent appeal. The 2015 was an early harvest producing very little crop, yet what was picked is spectacular. Across the palate it is a big wine, lush with gorgeous pure flavors and a long, persistent finish that brings to mind notes of warm cherry. Although still very young, the structure and balance of this wine makes it compelling to taste now and bodes well for age-ability. This will be one of the star vintages of the decade.

The 2019 Caryn Renae Sauvignon Blanc harkens an endless summer. Its brilliant lemon hue sparkles at the meniscus. Aromatics of boxwood, bergamot and a subtle gardenia alight the nose, and place you immediately at the shore of your choosing. The palate has notes ranging from blood orange and green papaya, to lemon meringue pie and pâte de fruit au pamplemousse with mouth-watering acidity and an expansive palate. The end result leaves you feeling piqued for a seaside picnic, and on the verge of a jaunt amongst the waves!
The 2016 Flanagan Cabernet has a compelling nose with a graphite minerality intertwined with orange blossom and cedar notes. The palate has a ripe red currant and black currant, red plum, some savory herbal notes, and lots of structure. The tannins are fine grained and grippy in this young Cabernet. The acidity provides beautiful delineation and tension in the mouth.
The 2017 Bacigalupi Chardonnay has a nose of lemon zest and vanilla bean. The palate opens with red pear and Meyer lemon, and brioche toast and honey comb notes on the finish. Like well-made Chardonnay from great vineyards around the world this wine benefits from getting some air, will age for years, and is best when served chilled around 50degrees. The palate is dominated by stone fruits like apricot and fresh peach and has a gorgeous minerality that carries the wine. This is a stunning wine, from one of Sonoma County’s most coveted sites for Chardonnay and will evolve in the bottle for many years to come.
