This is a big case of small production wines! It's a perfect "bang for your buck," for wine drinking anytime, in all its new iterations. These are three tiny productions. The Tela Cabernet is made by Rolando Herrera, from Coombsville in Napa. The Buoncristiani “OPC” is made with grapes sourced from the Hyde, Stagecoach, Hossfeld and Bennett vineyards, and made by Jay Buoncristiani. The Vinoce St. Helena Cabernet (Yes, St. Helena!) from Brian Nuss.
This is our 2nd big case of small production red wines! It's another perfect "bang for your buck” case, for wine drinking anytime, in all its new iterations. This one has a little bit of playfulness and creativity. There's an old vine St. Helena Zinfandel from D-Cubed, an opulent Syrah from Buoncristiani, and a Cuveé Hermitage from Longfellow that is refined and versatile. D-Cubed is made by Duane Dappen, the Buoncristiani Syrah is by Jay Buoncristiani, and the Longfellow Cuvee is made by Kale Anderson.
The needle goes through the cork and extracts a small amount of wine. When the needle is removed, the cork self-heals - no hole, and no air enters or escapes. It allows you to taste a wine that you are laying down, and to drink your favorite VC wines without opening a whole bottle.
