The 2015 Carte Blanche Proprietary Red Wine is a Right-Bank inspired blend of 59.5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Merlot, 18% Cabernet Franc, 4% Petite Verdot and .5% Malbec. Select vineyards and blocks were chosen and farmed specifically to attain a dense, rich wine framed by delicate fine-grained tannins. Beckstoffer’s Orchard Vineyard Merlot offers a plump & full mid-palate while providing ample nuance. Beckstoffer’s Missouri Hopper Cabernet Sauvignon in Oakville provides a full spectrum of rich and dark fruit, while the Sage Ridge Vineyard Cabernet Franc from Sage Ridge Canyon offers nuances of tobacco, plum, and roasted poblano. The 2015 Proprietary Red shows blackberry, black cherry and espresso on the nose. The palate entry is silky and focused, showcasing currant, crushed blackberries, graphite, and roasted poblano pepper through an enduring finish. 150 cases produced.

Bright, medium ruby color with purple overtones. The wine offers generous aromas of violet, plum, anise, cassis, and mint with restrained floral overtones. On the palate, it is light and well-balanced clean fruit. Medium body and ripe tannins with juicy plum, blackberry and dusty coffee notes in the background, all magnified on a long, subtle finish.
The nose has notes of lavender and rose hips along with fragrant red fruits. The palate has red and black current with black tea and soy notes. The 2013 Serenity Way is rich and intense.... and at the same time elegant. This wine can proudly stand with great Cabernet based wines from anywhere on earth. Try it in a lineup of top Bordeaux and Super-Tuscan’sjust for fun!
Riley's Rows is the project of Eric Flanagan's daughter Riley. Riley grew up with Flanagan Wines, and is now off on her own!
This inaugural release of the 2016 Riley’s Rows "Three by Three" Proprietary Red Blend North Coast, is an awesome reflection of some of our favorite North Coast vineyard sites. The Merlot is from our Brandt ranch in Lake County... which is one of the best vineyards in Lake County. The Cabernet and Syrah are both from great Sonoma County sites.
Audēre (Latin)--To dare! To venture! Audēre was born from premium hillside Napa Valley grapes. All of this mountain fruit comes from Atlas Peak, Howell Mountain, Pritchard Hill, & the Silverado foothills, and was barrel aged for 23 months in 90% new French & Hungarian oak. Unlike the 2013 Audēre, which was predominantly Merlot based, this 2014 vintage is technically a Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon even though we classify it as a "red blend." This gives us the freedom every vintage to create the best possible blend after we put together our top tier flagship wines.
The label design is similar to last year’s vintage which played upon a gothic theme of the Hertelendy Family coat of arms used on our other labels, but with a twist. Pour yourself a glass, and then dim the lights to reveal the surprise...if you dare!
This ethereal Red Blend combines bold, mountainside structure with refined finesse, purity, and sophistication. Intense dense aromas of bright bing cherry, jammy brambleberry and blueberry, vanilla, rose water, and perfume are beautifully intertwined with rich mocha, earthy truffles, delicate minerality, seared leather, and butterscotch on the palate. With brilliant acidity, silky tannins, and balanced structure, we experience luxurious elegance fit for a king.
The 2014 Proprietary Red exhibits plenty of chocolate, crème de cassis, soft tannins, low acidity and a dense ruby/purple color in a medium-bodied, elegant, fleshy style. Drink it over the next 15-20 years.
Copious amounts of blackberry, cherry and blueberries, chocolate truffles, a cleansing acidity, bold mountain structure with refined silky tannins that linger on the palate in anticipation of the next sip.
"The 2013 Proprietary Red Estate is a blend of 73% Cabernet Sauvignon, 19% Merlot and 8% Petit Verdot. This wine was aged in 85% new Taransaud oak for 19 months prior to bottling of 650 cases. The wine is a beauty, with loads of charcoal, scorched earth, blackcurrants and blackberry fruit present, along with underlying smoky notes. It is dense purple, full-bodied, and rich, with moderate tannin. This wine will benefit from another 4-5 years of cellaring and drink well for another 20-25 years.
