This is a bold and generous Pinot, rambunctious in its youth with plenty to give over years in the cellar. The nose is densely packed with rich notes of black cherry, blackberry, wet slate, and blood orange. Intense fresh fruits lead the palate, and the focus settles on ripe flavors of blackberry, cassis, and currants intermixed with spicy peppercorn, and tobacco notes. Brilliant acidity provides brightness and balance while firm, mouth- filling tannins emphasize structure, always a strong suit for this wine. The spicy aromatics continue through the long finish. Cellaring this wine for a decade or beyond will reveal a silky texture hidden beneath layers of strong tannins that dominate its early years.

Expect to find deep aromas of cassis, black cherry, incense, dark chocolate, caramelized oak, toffee, and the Buoncristiani signatures of balance, depth on the mid palate, and a lengthy persistent finish.

2011 Three Stones Estate Cabernet presents with deep dark color and long legs that suggest the full rich mouth feel to come.  A nose of ripe fruit, spicy wood and dark chocolate opens to layers of ripe plums, baked purple and red fruit pie, a hint of herbs and a finish of milk chocolate.

With balance, softness and integration this is a wine you can enjoy today or in the years to come.

“The stunning 2013 Eternity Proprietary Red wine is obviously a Bordeaux blend. It reveals unsmoked cigar tobacco and licorice, Christmas fruitcake, cedarwood and plenty of blackberry and cassis fruit along with a full‐bodied palate. The oak is well‐disguised by the wine’s lavish concentration and intensity. It should drink beautifully for another 20+ years.”
