Flanagan 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon

The 2018 Flanagan Cabernet has a savory nose of leather, pencil shavings, essence of black plum, and coffee. The palate has black plum skin, rhubarb, cocoa nibs, and cinnamon. As always the wine has a surprising amount of tannin structure for New World Cabernet. All of the Cabernet comes from hillside vineyards and the small berries produced from the steep, volcanic sites give the wine great color and concentration.
