The Buoncristiani O.P.C. is a Napa Valley proprietary red blend. In the quest to create a unique wine, it discovered the synergy of marrying Napa Cabernet Sauvignon with Syrah, while also folding in further complexity of texture and flavor with Napa Malbec, Merlot and Petit Verdot blenders. Grapes are sourced from some of Napa’s most prestigious vineyards including Hyde, Stagecoach, Hossfeld and Bennett. Just like winemaking fathers before, with “Ol’ Pa’s Cuvée” the brothers continue the family tradition of handcrafting blends that help accentuate the enjoyment of life.
The 2017 blend was handcrafted from small lots harvested exclusively from ultra premium Hillside blocks in the Eastern Vaca Mountain range. Expect to find a dark purple color, intense black and blueberries, white pepper spice, violets, vanilla, toasty French oak, white chocolate, a broad mid palate with balanced acidity, depth of flavor, and a fleshy sexy round finish.
The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon 20th Anniversary bottling displays a deep garnet-purple color and bold scents of crème de cassis, blackberry preserves and black cherry compote with fragrant wafts of underbrush, lavender, chocolate box and wild sage. The full-bodied palate is densely packed with bright, energetic black fruits, supported by firm, grainy tannins and bold freshness, finishing long with loads of floral and mineral sparks.
Complex aromas of lemon zest, white peach, spicy pear, orange sherbert, floral muscat, vanilla, and lemon cream pie entice the senses. On the palate, a creamy texture leads the way to layered flavors of mango, pineapple, apple, key lime pie, honeysuckle and vanilla wafer. Zesty citrus flavors, tropical fruit and ultra bright acidity linger in the crisp and clean finish.
Stunning color in the glass, anelectrifyingnose showcases black currants, cassis, cigar box and red fruit.The palate is opulent, plush and structured with integrated sweet tannins showcasing notes of dark blackberry, black cherry, and bittersweet chocolate dance through an everlasting and strong finish.
The 2018 Proprietary Red shows blackberry, black cherry and espresso on the nose. The palate entry is silky and focused, showcasing currant, crushed blackberries, graphite, and roasted poblano pepper through an enduring finish.
The 2018 Sun Chase Pinot Noir is a massive, complex, nuanced wine of black cherry, orange peel, pine needle, black plum, slate, black tea. The incredibly silky entry opens to a seamless palate with tremendous length, with flavors of plum, clove, forest floor, morello cherry, tangerine oil, and rose oil, which persist for over a minute following the finish.
The 2019 UV Vineyard Chardonnay is a gorgeous, intense, racy wine of great purity. The nose is layered with lemon curd, lemon zest, orange blossom, Asian pear, oyster shell, and raw almond. On the palate, the wine is ample, yet with great tension and drive, with acidity lifting flavors of lemon curd, hazelnut, fresh pear, and pastry flour with just a hint of fresh sage.

The 2018 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is comprised of a small barrel selection of the finest fruit from our vineyard. Deep and brooding, the 2018 Estate will have a long life, evolving over time.
As the foundation of the Ellman line-up with an intense garnet hue, it overdelivers with notes of cassis, cigar box and Chinese Five Spice—replete with hints of fennel, whole black peppercorns, star anise, cloves and cinnamon. Walking the tightrope of finesse with extreme power, the palate gives way to generous flavors of blackberry, cassis, cola and nuanced notes of musk, porcini and hibiscus, which interplay with the stately framework. This is a wine that commands respect, and will continue to reveal itself overtime.
The 2019 Caryn Renae Sauvignon Blanc harkens an endless summer. Its brilliant lemon hue sparkles at the meniscus. Aromatics of boxwood, bergamot and a subtle gardenia alight the nose, and place you immediately at the shore of your choosing. The palate has notes ranging from blood orange and green papaya, to lemon meringue pie and pâte de fruit au pamplemousse with mouth-watering acidity and an expansive palate. The end result leaves you feeling piqued for a seaside picnic, and on the verge of a jaunt amongst the waves!
